GM Immersive

Corvette VR

This exhibit provides a “virtual showroom” experience that enables participants to explore both the exterior and interior of a full-size, digital 2020 Corvette. Viewers can walk around the outside of the vehicle, change its colors and wheels, and sit inside to view various interior colors and materials.

While in the driver’s seat, participants can explore a variety of interior features and take the wheel to go for a “virtual test drive.”

Tips + Tricks

virtual reality makes exploring new vehicles fun + easy

Models and configurations can be featured and driven virtually on the showroom floor.

Immersive technology allows users to see products in a 3D, full-scale, interactive environment. In the future, this technology could enable people to experience the latest car and truck models without the need to have the physical vehicles present. Different colors, trim levels and options could be interchanged, giving customers the opportunity to ‘configure’ their future vehicle in a fun and engaging way.

The option to take a “virtual test drive” would enhance the vehicle exploration while allowing customers to remain within a controlled environment.
